Dr. MK was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, making her an Oregon native. She received her Bachelor of Science at Portland State University and earned her DMD at OHSU School of Dentistry. She was one of two recipients in her graduating class to receive the Academy of General Dentistry Award, which embodies a provider who exemplifies excellence in communication, empathy, and skill in the treatment of their patients.
Dr. MK was afraid of going to the dentist when she was young, and this has contributed to her compassionate and calming nature towards her patients. Dr. MK understands that dental treatments can cause stress and anxiety so she strives to create a comfortable and educational experience as much as possible. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, and rooting for the Trailblazers.
